Hello everyone!
It's been a busy few weeks at Second Chance Pet Adoptions! The auction on July 25th was a great night- festive, fun, and all for the animals. Here are some shots of the night, sent by Melissa Katafiasz. If you took any shots of the night, we'd love to see them, too!

The auction figures and results should be coming soon. Thanks to everyone who gave Second Chance their support!
Meanwhile, volunteers have been out promoting Second Chance and our wonderful animals.
On July 31st, Lisa and I manned a booth at the State Employees Combined Campaign in downtown Raleigh. The event introduces state employees to different charities to whom they can donate part of their salaries.
On the canine front, volunteers had a busy weekend. On Saturday, August 1st, a few Second Chance dogs attended the Carolina Railhawks' soccer game at the WakeMed Soccer Park.

The next day, Lucy and Mardi Gras were joined by Jules, Sarah, and Sheldon at the Harris Teeter in Cameron Village. The dogs and Second Chance got great exposure and were a hit with the crowd!
